Babies and children up to about 2 years of age should sleep on a relatively hard but resilient mattress, an excessively soft mattress may cause increased muscle tension and asymmetry - therefore it is not recommended, for example, to sleep infants with their parents on an adult mattress.
The foam in a baby mattress should not have a density below 18 kg / m³ - due to its rapid loss of shape.
The TIGER site is suitable for children up to the age of two due to its hardness and high density.

- Rigid polyurethane foam of higher density: 25 - 30 kg / m³ perfectly reduces pressure, providing the child with optimal development conditions.
- Memory foam (from 2 years of age) with a density of 45 kg / m³.
COVER
TENCEL (LYOCELL)
The TENCEL cover is made of cellulose fibers, has excellent absorption and moisture release properties, which is crucial in terms of hygiene and bacterial growth. TENCEL fibers have the smoothest structure, making it the best choice for children and people with delicate skin.
Removable, double-sided quilted cover with side ventilation made of high-quality mattress fabrics.
- fluffy quilting through the additional use of a non-woven layer,
- washable at 60 ° C without fear of shrinkage,
- zipper separating the cover into two parts, which makes it easy to remove,
- ventilation polyester knit with a 3D mesh structure sewn into the side of the cover,
- knitted fabrics have the "Oeko-Tex® Standard 100" certificate.
VAPOR-PERMEABLE MEMBRANE
You can also choose a cover with a vapor-permeable membrane sewn into one part of the cover from the inside. The membrane protects the mattress insert, so it does not require the use of an additional mattress overlay. It is waterproof, vapor-permeable and hygienic. The cover with a sewn-in membrane can be safely washed at 60 ° C.
INTENDED USE
Under normal conditions of use, the mattress is intended for use in:
- prophylaxis and prevention of posture defects,
- preventing spine overload associated with the forced position of the body during sleep in children,
- musculoskeletal dysfunctions in diseases of the neuromuscular system in children (e.g. cerebral palsy, widespread childhood paralysis, birth damage to the brachial plexus),
- supportive in preventing sleep disorders.
The mattress can also be used in early prophylaxis in children with a low risk of developing pressure ulcers.
How to order a custom size?
If the mattress is to be smaller than the standard size 120 x 60 cm, it is enough to place an order for the size 120 x 60 cm and indicate the non-standard size in the comments to the order, e.g. 110 x 50 cm.
If the mattress is to be larger than 120 x 60 cm, but smaller than 140 x 70 cm, an order for a size of 140 x 70 cm should be placed, and then in the comments to the order, indicate the non-standard size, e.g. 135 x 65 cm.
