The wedge is a pillow designed for sleeping, lying down and resting.

Depending on how it is placed, it will prove useful in relieving pressure on the back and legs and for people who remain lying down for long periods of time or who suffer from gastro-oesophageal reflux.

The removable cover, allows it to be machine washed and kept clean.

Also available in a waterproof, washable, vapour-permeable cover (SANMED) meeting the requirements for medical products.

The wedge-shaped cushion is made of high-quality polyurethane foam. For even greater comfort, it has a layer of thermoelastic foam on top, which adapts to the body.

Thanks to the high quality foam, the pillow will not collapse or deform.

Ventilation channels ensure air flow.

USAGE:

  • as a comfortable support while reading books, watching TV on a bed, sofa or armchair,
  • when placed on its long side, it facilitates breathing during sleep and helps to combat symptoms of gastric reflux or indigestion,
  • can be used as a cushion under the legs to alleviate pain, swelling or problems associated with varicose veins,
  • will also find use for pregnant women.

COVER:

GREY / NAVY BLUE CHECK

Cover made of knitted cotton/polyester fabric with grey check pattern.

GREY / NAVY BLUE CHECK WITH MEMBRANE

Grey checked cover with a sewn-in vapour-permeable membrane inside the cover, which makes it waterproof and liquid repellent.

Each cover has a zipper so that it can be easily removed and washed.

The recommended washing temperature for the covers is 40°C.

SANMED

A wedge cover in SANMED material, which is used in the manufacture of healthcare products. The material is waterproof and washable, while at the same time permeable to air.

Colour: blue or green.

It fulfils all the requirements of essential medical products for various purposes in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Health of 3 November 2004 and meets the requirements included in Annex No. I of the Council Directive 93/42/EEC of 14 June 1993 concerning medical products, implemented by the Act of 30 April 2004 on medical products (Journal of Laws No. 93 of 2004, item 896).

The material complies with the requirements of OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 class I.

The material does not contain PVC or phthalates.
